During the school year she teaches Origami to children throughout the East Bay as an after school program under the name of “Origami Mami” and will share her passion for design and paper arts this Summer by teaching the kids how to create their own Rain Forest scene complete with Origami animals, plants, insects and much more!

Self Portraits with Liliana Herrera

Liliana Herrara is an artist and a student at Hayward University. She has taught after school programs and assisted last year at NFS art camp. She will be doing silhouette self portraits collage where they will collage things that represent their lives and what they love or enjoy doing; sports, family, friends, etc. We will also paint with tissue paper on watercolor paper, where they will explore color and shapes.

Drawing with Andrew Kjera

Andrew Kjera is an artist and educator. He has been teaching the arts and other things to children for nearly thirty years.  This summer, he is sharing his Drawing Without Lines concepts.  Students will explore some alternative approaches to making a drawing.  Everyone will learn something new, especially Andrew!

Painting with Jennifer Wolpert

Jennifer Wolpert is an artist who works in oil, acrylic painting and drawing. She has been teaching art in the East Bay for six years at after-school art programs in Orinda and Lafayette, and children’s classes and art camp at NFS.
