East Bay Open Studios Artist: Frank Ramsay

Most of Frank Ramsay’s work are one-of-a-kind pieces. They are influenced by Chinese and Japanese design along with more traditional English work. He is fascinated by the intricacies of Chinese joinery and enjoys working on projects that show the beauty of real wood while at the same time incorporating curves and angles to create shapes that are pleasing to the eye. Frank works with reclaimed or sustainable woods.

View Frank’s work in-person during East Bay Open Studios at Norton Factory June 7-8 and 14-15, 11 a.m. to noon daily and on his website, frankramsaywoodworking.com.
